Iron fabric if needed and cut out the paper stencil for the top and skirt. Fold top fabric once into equal halves, right sides together. Lay stencil on fabric lining up the fold edge of stencil on the fold of the fabric-very important!

Trace with a marker, stabilize with a few pins and cut it out. Repeat with the skirt stencil on the folded jean fabric. Match fold on stencil with folded edge of jean fabric. Trace and cut out.

Cut velcro into small squares. Wrap skirt around doll waist. Fold back one inch of one edge and glue velcro squares as seen in picture. Be sure to glue a fuzzy square opposite a loopy square so they will hook to each other. Skirt closure can be in the front, back or side however you chose.

Lay top on doll. Place wrong side of fabric ( which has marker lines) against dolls body.
Stabilze with a pin and then flip doll over on her stomach.

Fold back the top edge and glue velcro squares apposite each other. Remember loopy piece across from a fuzzy piece.
Next overlap and glue the shoulder straps. Red marker shows where to put the glue.
Now choose your trims and design the outfit. Be careful to only use small dabs of glue so it doesn't seep through and adhere to the doll. She won't want to wear this outfit forever!!!LOL
